For more than 60 years, in the green Apennines of the Marche region, Italian yarn factory, Cariaggi® has been selecting and working with prestigious cashmere fibres, always guaranteeing excellent yarns, recognised in 27 countries throughout the world.

Now Cariaggi® is a market leader, and considered a trailblazing success. it uses sophisticated and increasingly eco-compatible production methods, able to mix the characteristics of cashmere yarn using a completely customised technology that guarantees and brings out all of the typical Italian taste for craftsmanship, creativity and quality.

“In 1958, my father Aurelio was working as a spinning technician at an important local woollen mill, a few kilometres away, before he set up his own business. It wasn’t easy. I was a child and I remember the difficulties he faced only too well.
I joined the business at the start of the 1970s, with the idea of evolving our mindset and the way we present ourselves to the market. We have always been sustained by our great passion for fibres and textile machinery, a passion that has been handed down for generations, from my father, from me, and now to my children."
